Weapons Revamp

Dear Community,

During the most recent admin meeting, I've made a proposal to the administration in regards to changing the weapon system. After careful consideration, the administration accepted my proposal and have decided to revamp the weapon system to encourage a higher standard of roleplay.

The revamp will consist of removing heavy-duty weapons from the public in order to promote a more realistic environment. We hope that this change will also open more doors for roleplay, and will result in civilians who require guns to more actively engage with groups such as the CJNG, and other gangs & families in order to obtain their weapons.

The following are the changes that will be taking place:

• SPAS12, Sniper, and M4 will be removed from the public (/sellgun, VIP)
• SPAS12, Sniper, and M4 will be strictly restricted to SAPD SWAT and above ranks, along with SANG.
• Tec9, UZI, and sawn-off shotguns will be available to the public through the arms dealer job (/sellgun)
• Uzi and Tec9 will cost 1,500 materials.
• Sawn-off shotgun will cost 1,000 materials.
• Emmet the NPC will be removed.
• Deagle prices in ammunations will be lowered to $50,000.
• MP5 prices will be raised to $10,000.
• Groups will be able to craft snipers & M4s
• CJNG will be able to sell snipers & M4s to general population
• Groups will be able to obtain SPAS12s for their own use, they will not be allowed to sell it to players
• SAPD SWAT and higher ranks + SANG will be able to carry SPAS12s through their armory
• Only way to obtain SPAS12s will be by robbing/raiding SAPD SWAT and higher ranking personnel or SANG personnel

If you need guns in game, you can do any of the following:

• Purchase your guns from arms dealers
• Purchase materials from an arms dealer
• Become an arms dealer and run your own materials and craft your own guns
• Purchase your guns off of CJNG or other factions that deal weapons (gangs, families, etc)
