David, this is an in-character situation however I HIGHLY suggest you wait a week (7 days) as patience will certainly enhance your chances of getting off the ban list in the future.

I suggest you take this time to make a good application and ban appeal with maximum effort, I suggest you write at least DOUBLE the minimum word count. I wish you the best of luck.
