I'm a part of San Andreas Police Department, I'm sad to tell you that the weapon license recruitment is currently Closed because a new format will be added soon. Any application will be denied immediately, also, you can join Police Department without carrying a weapon license, there'are a new Requirements. Please check San Andreas Police Department's Requirments and Recruitment for more information.

I can verify his information is correct. You're being denied since ADM have closed the status for applying for weapon licenses, it'll be back shortly hopefully.

The status of the weapon license application is currently closed until further notice, therefore your application got denied. You'll have to wait until it's open again before being able to apply again. Regarding your application for the Police Department, there isn't any requirement to have a weapon license as I'm aware of so you should be good to go. Hope that got your question answered.

I've got a new information for you, ADM is currently being removed from PD.

I think that this will take some time Becsuse I think that another division is coming soon or they will add the weapon license applications to Training and Recruiting division, I'll ask.

Correct me if I am wrong but SANG requires weapon license but not SAPD.

That's right you need Weapon license to apply for SANG, but you can apply for LSPD without having Weapon license.
But they've closed recruitment for SAPD.
