how to replace crosshair with gta v hud

the gta v hud comes with a crosshair and when i try to change it, it does nothing. how do i change it

OP; You indeed are correct. The GTA V hud does come with it's own crosshair, depending on the download link.

I'll give it a hunch, according to your issue there must be obviously another mod conflicting with the crosshair. If you're using mod loader then I suggest that you increase it priority. If not you can simply remove the GTA V mod and install it a-fresh from here

I'd still advice you to remove all of your modifications and use a clean GTA SA to use the suggested modification.
