GTA Running as background process with ENB.

So I used to be able to run ENBs on my GTA and SAMP until a recent update.

Now the d3d9.dll that comes with every ENB for GTA SA is causing something to not allow GTA SAMP not to run as a primary process. It only runs as a background process, meaning the game never starts up but is "running" in the background. I'm here to ask if anyone knows how to fix this issue because I for the life of me do not like playing a vanilla version of GTA, it just isn't crisp.

I bet it's the server that causes this, have you tried getting on other servers with this ENB? Or dare I say have you tried re installing the ENB from scratch, might be due to some files going corrupt.

Re install your INB and then try.

I've also experience that problem. It means that your vorbisfile and vorbisHooked.dlls are causing your game to run gta-sa.exe on the "background process"

You must re-install your gta-sa ang your current ENB without any mod, It should be fixed and worked.

The game loading has nothing to do with the server or connecting to it, no. Did it just randomly stop working and which ENB are you using?

To all of the above answers I've already done all of that. None of that's working. I'll try replacing my Cornish files but I doubt it'll work.

First off you didn't seperate your statement from the one you have to Rev so I had no idea your comment also addressed me.

Secondly I have other mods yes but those were installed after the ENB and the ENB didn't work then. If you read my comment I explained this.

The ENB stopped working after I updated my windows, not just at random. If a d3d9.dll file is in my Directory my game refuses to run as a primary task and only runs as a background task. I don't know how much more clear I can be with you guys. I've literally outlined everything crystal clear.

Im using one of my own custom made ENBs but I've tried literally 5 ENBs to check and see if it's just my enb or every enb. It's EVERY and ANY ENB I use that encounters this issue.

Yeah, and is there any solution? I've tried reinstalling every single version of direct X that I can. Apparently windows can't install direct X 9.0c though but I read somewhere that direct X 12 that comes with windows 10 still has all of direct X 9.0c's shit.

SAMP only works with DirectX 9.
First make sure you have it by looking at the bottom left of the keyboard and pressing the key that looks like a flag and then R.
Then type dxdiag and press the return key (located below the backspace key.)
When dxdiag is loaded, it will ask you to verify your drivers are digitally signed, press yes so that it can check your drivers.
If dxdiag doesn't load, reinstall DirectX 9 but if it does load and your drivers are fine, try and turn on 'Run as Administrator' on both samp.exe and gta_sa.exe.

My drivers are fine. I've got my game set to run as admin, when d3d9.dll is in my
Directory it runs as a background process still.

I experienced same problem yesterday with the ENB after an update. I reinstalled DirectPlay like I did when running GTA SA for the first time. Try that.

Back, direct play was reinstalled but it didn't help in this case.

Update: Whenever I don't use modloader but I have an ENB installed my game crashes, even after using the windows 8.1-10 compatibility batch fix, and it gives me an error code, but whenever I have the modloader installed with my ENB, my game chooses to run in the background instead of launch.
