    Non-Removable Virus

    In-Game Name: Kyle_McLeod
    Date: 04/08/2017
    Your Question:
Recently, I downloaded and installed an application named FL Studio from the original website which is the following one: http://www.image-line.com/
However, a few days later after the installation, I started bumping into some weird actions by google chrome. I would open a new tab to search for something and whatever I would have written would be removed and a new bar would be opened like so:

I have had this virus before as well, and I figured I'd recover my PC, but I want to keep that as my last method this time.

I tried removing any suspicious applications I had seen in the control panel>uninstall programs section. I clicked "installed on" beforehand so I would see what else was installed along with FL Studio and I ended up removing one application, and I still run into the same problem. I even get some advertisements, beside the fact that I have an ad blocking extension enabled. I tried downloading malwarebytes and adwcleaner, but I keep running into this error: .
Last time I tried doing something through cmd as an administrator, but I had no luck and like I said I performed a recovery.

Thankfully through very intensive research that has taken me several weeks to complete, I've finally figured out a possible way to fix this. Turns out googling "counterflix virus" returns this:
    https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-counterflix-ads/

    Who would have guessed?

Who would have guessed that none of those methods worked for me?

    EDIT;
The methods with adw cleaner and malwarebytes gave me the exact error as the one I posted above.

I've yet to find out where you figured out that I have no friends, which I do, just because I asked for help on removing a virus on this forum. It's proved useful many times.

The first part of your comment was just added just so you don't get infracted for useless posting, so kindly fuck off.

It's really hard to google "This app has been blocked for your protection", right?

    First result that comes up:

Tried all of that before, and you guessed it - it didn't work.

You're not really giving us a lot of information to work with here so maybe you can do some of your own Google searches from now on. If you have a saved System Restore, back up to that or do a complete clean install.

I gave you all the information I have. And as you saw, I've tried a bunch of methods before and they did not work hence why I made this thread.

Download Malwarebytes and run a full system scan. Nothing comes up then check google chrome extensions and remove anything that's not suppose to be there. I have fl studio 12 and nothing is wrong with my computer, just do a system restore to the date before you installed it.

This pops up when I try to install Malwarebytes:

I've tried googling on how to bypass that problem and I couldn't find a solution. This always happens to me when I install fl studio 12 for some reason.

Re-install your Windows or replace a new SSD or HDD (IDK what's the name of it) since this virus is stuck to 'system32' folder.

Edit;Or try run safe mode with internet connection then install malwarebytes.

Tried running Malwarebytes in administrator mode? ALso you can try to put Malwarebytes on a flash drive, then shut off your pc and when you turn it on a again hit F2 until you reach into the bios. Then from there, start windows in safemode and use Malwarebytes installation from your flashdrive

    Never mind, I'm dumb.

I'll try it out and quote you once I've done so.

Well, this is just an option, but you can try reinstalling the windows, clearing everything in it.

Alright so this problem is ongoing and I have no idea what to do. I tried resolving it with reimage pc repair and as soon as I thought I had tackled the problem and only needed to click repair it prompted me for a license, which I do not have. I'll keep formatting, reinstalling windows as my last resort. Suggestions are appreciated.
