'Out of range 67.5hz of 60khz' when trying to change resolution.

    Your Question:
So for around a month I've been playing at 1440 x 900 and I tried changing my monitor's resolution to 1600x900 and got promoted by this error from my monitor before reverting me back to 1440 x 900. I am also using a VGA to HDMI connector.

Alright so first of all, what graphics card do you have?

If you have nVidia, you can change the refresh rate in the control panel and set it back to 60hz.

If you have AMD, just Google it.

Make sure your drivers are updated, your Graphics Card is attached properly, and that your monitor supports that resolution. Try contacting support of your Graphic Card's manufacturer in order to seek their professional advice.

    Awaiting Player, 12 hours.

Which resolution are you trying to change it to? Are you sure that resolution is supported?

No it's just that, everything that everyone has suggested I've already tried.

Like, I can put the VGA cable into the motherboard and that allows me to use 1600 x 900 but it won't use my gpu. Then when I use the VGA to HDMI adapter it wont allow me.

I guess the screen resolution you changed to requires a frequency of 67.5hz when it isn't available. Assure you monitor supports this refresh rate. You may also want to fiddle with directx via WINDOWS KEY + R -> "dxdiag"
    for example,

Then going into your graphics properties (graphics card dependent):

my current display mode has the resolution of 1920x1080, 32bit @59hz. Assure it's below 60 or equal

    This might help; https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ut-of-range-or

I know it's for Microsoft games but it's the similar issue.
