GTA won't work

so i just installed gta and when i try to run it it doesn't work, what should i do
ps; i don't have the gta_sa.set file to delete and i tried running it admin mod, also tried reinstalling it

it used to work on my old computer just fine, i copied it into a USB key and pasted it on the new computer and it stopped working
no i didnt delete any file

Perhaps reinstalling it the original way? Maybe the file on your USB got corrupt or messed up.

I'm currently downloading a clean version since the one I've got in the USB is full of mods, then I'm gonna hit you up with the results.

^ (Mods may be causing the damage to your game, reinstall those and it might work/take the mods from the folders for now.)

Download a clean version of it, maybe one of your mods is causing problem.

Well I installed a clean version of GTA 4 times from different sources but none of them worked, any other solutions please?

the problem is with gta.sa itself, it doesn't work when i click nothing happens at all
edit; i tried to replace my gta_sa.exe with that gta_sa.exe V1.0 or whatever it's called and it's still not working...

Are all of your mods out of your directory or wherever it is?

How new is this computer? Do you have anything valuable on it?
If not I suggest if you don't want to wait you can copy all your items onto a USB and factory reset your computer.

Its a final option if your method doesn't work with. I do however have faith that you know what you are doing so I shall allow you to handle this.
