How to back my files up?

My PC isn't letting me copy my files by using right click and copy.
Dropbox only lets you copy individual files, not folders without preminium or someshit

How can i back my files up?

Well, I usually just highlight the folder, Ctrl+C, then make a copy. If possible, drag the file into a flashdrive, and it will copy itself in there. If that works, change the name, and copy it back into your computer.

Why isn't your PC letting you copy files? Does it give an error? If not and you have multiple users on your computer it's probably ownership issues.
If you highlight the folder the files are in, go onto it's properties and change it's security settings so your user has full control your problem may be solved.

One account and it's the admin account anyway. This ain't workin'.

Run CMD as admin and do
copy C:\folder A\folder B\my folder\. c:\myfolder


the first directory is the source, the second the destination
the . stands for copy everything
if you change the dot you can specify it to copy only certain file types like .txt

That's helpful, but at the same time not helpful. Most people will still get confused, and at the same time, he still needs a faster way to copy things from A to B.

What does it say, tell you, do, any actions, like I don't understand what the issue is here. Does it say you don't have permission? If not, are you trying to copy something that is 'running', or 'active'?

Right click the folder or mark all the files you want and then add it into a .rar file
Try it if still doesn't work please reply.
