I think the avatars are bugged, post an FRR for your avatar.

try choosing avatars with ".png" extension with names like "name.PNG" etc

I would use Jay's suggestion and post a FRR for a Forum Administrator to change your avatar for you, best way.

Yes, an FRR should do the trick, if it still accours and can't be fixed, please tell. :)

Make sure the PNG file or whatever it is doesn't exceed to it's maximum pixels 200 by 250 or 300.0 KB. If that doesn't work then your best bet is to post a FRR with the correct pixels and they will do the rest.
