Either way if it was /ad or /newb, you would've been muted on either or. Majority of the time, people abuse then say it's an M/C. The fact that this can't be interpreted as an M/C since it looks like blatant abuse I say pay for your unmute.

I'm going to agree with my helpers on this one. Basely /newb was rename to avoid people M/C'ing on newbie chat, so i find your story hard to believe. Pay for an unmute.
