Do not abuse the /newb(ie) function in anyway. Abuse can be, making irrelevant comments which do not answer questions or comments which are not questions as well.
Verbal warning if the said player is new.
/newb(ie) warning if the said player is of level two or above.
/newb(ie) mute if said abuse continues.
From what I can see, you clearly abused the /newb chat in the most disgusting way possible. You knew exactly what you were doing when you wrote that, I don't agree with a permanent mute (unless you continued to abuse the chat) but you most certainly deserve a warning.
Ace's punishment may have been over the top, but he did what he thought was best for the /newb chat to prevent you from offending anyone over the /newb chat or abusing it again. You quite literally insulted the whole playerbase that was online at the time.
So what I can do for you is remove the permanent mute as, if this was your first time abusing then you should have received a warning at first and a mute afterwards, however you will be /nwarn(ed) if Ace hasn't already done that.
You're a level 26, fix up. You should know how /newb works now better than a few members within the helper team itself.
Pending an /nwarn (if Ace hasn't already done that) and pending an unmute.
If you're caught abusing again however, it WILL be a mute.
Resolved.
