    Computer problem

Okay so my computer was off for a while, I turned it back on and for some reason my screen stays blackr, it just says that no signal is found. I know that my monitor is working cause I tried it with my old computer so that can't be the problem. I know for a fact that it isn't my graphics card, I bought it a few months ago and it's been working just fine.

Basically, it looks like everything is working except that my screen stays black. Any ideas?

If it says signal not found it could be a gpu issue "which could be less likely" or it could simply be the cable. I would try switching the cable before opting for a new gpu

If your mobo has an onboard vga/hdmi output i would try testing it out on that

might be because the gpu wants to force the monitor to work with a higher refresh rate or resolution that the monitor can't support.. also you can try resetting your bios setting to default on your motherboard.

Does this help you? If not, I have another solution for you.

This has happened to me plenty of times. What I do is:
    - I switch and connect the cable with the blue end (The one that connects to your monitor to your CPU) to the one that connects to your motherboard.
    - After that, I turn on my computer, then reset it. I use the reset button to immediately switch it off.
    - I then switch and connect the cable with the blue end (VGA something if you call it), to the one that connects back to your graphics card/video card whatever it's called.
    - I reset my computer (again using the reset button) and voila, it works.

If this doesn't work, I'll try searching up some solutions for you.

Try to lower your desktop resolution with the help of a monitor which can support the high resolution your GPU is trying to boot it on.
