'Out of range 67.5hz of 60khz' when trying to change resolution.

I guess the screen resolution you changed to requires a frequency of 67.5hz when it isn't available. Assure you monitor supports this refresh rate. You may also want to fiddle with directx via WINDOWS KEY + R -> "dxdiag"
for example,



Then going into your graphics properties (graphics card dependent):


my current display mode has the resolution of 1920x1080, 32bit @59hz. Assure it's below 60 or equal

I know it's for Microsoft games but it's the similar issue.

So I just recorded me changing my resolution and this is all I got. I couldn't see the 'reverting in 15 seconds' GUI that popped up, thats when I saw the 'Out of range 67.5khz out of 60hz'. This only happens when I use the VGA to hdmi adapter and plug it into my gpu. If I plug the VGA straight into the motherboard it works but then I can't use my GPU for gaming.

Your "motherboard" isn't really your motherboard, it's integrated graphics, a separate graphics processing unit.
Then you also have your GPU.

You need to change your GPU's refresh rate for this particular resolution in your nvidia control panel, in particular for GTA SA if you want to limit this change to GTA SA. Assure it's equal or below 60hz.
