FPS Lag

Your Question:
So after taking off some time from gaming, I decided to hop on SARP a few days ago and find that, to my surprise, I had really bad FPS lag, possibly around the 5-10 zone and it's impossible to play. I thought it could have been that I turned off my gaming settings for my laptop, but it wasn't since I had also tried Battlefield 1 on Ultra High settings and it was very smooth. So I have come to the conclusion that it is a GTA problem. I've never had this issue in my life and no idea how to solve it. I have also tried playing around with the graphic settings in the menu and there was no change at all, it'd be nice if there's a solution for this, thanks.

Are you able to turn up your monitor's refresh rate? I have to turn mine up to 144hz everytime I load GTA.

Have you tried low settings on your GTA? No? Try it. Also if you're using an ENB, I recommend to check ENB's requirements. If No? then install a fresh GTA with SAMP in another partition / folder.

Make sure:

• The PC isn't overheated.
• The PC doesn't have any junk files.
• The PC isn't affected by a virus.
• GTA is clean, and clear of any kind of modifications.

If you're sure that the above-listed things are not the cause, try to uninstall and delete the GTA San Andreas (along with its documents), then reinstall it without any modifications. If it still doesn't work, try to reinstall whatever Windows you have without deleting the previous files. Try to upgrade it if you Windows 7 or 8, and if you have Windows 10, there is an option to reinstall the Windows.

Coby has a beast of a PC (1080 or 1080ti??) and no way should he be getting 10 fps on samp even with an ENB.

This is an issue with your graphics card. Try reinstalling your drivers and disabling GeForce Experience. If that doesn't work, tough luck.

You might have some luck reinstalling your operating system but even then I doubt it.

Update, everything works except for Grand Theft Auto, that's the only game I'm gathering around 1-5fps, every other game I'm getting over 100+ fps, DayZ, CS:GO, BF1 all on Ultra settings with no lag at all.
