    Your Question:
    Alright so Adrian Da Vinci has an issue with DirectX9. He did a factory reset on his PC which caused him to lose everything including the latest DirectX version. If anyone has an idea or know how to fix this and get him to run the game properly I'd be thankful. He tried downloading it as well and it didn't work out for him. Much appreciated it!

    Had this exact issue, what seemed to fix it is reinstalling my GTA SA (completely clean version).

    But if that doesn't work, try installing mod_sa (sobeit) into your GTA SA directory and then uninstall it. It automatically updates your Direct X.

    Had the same issue before when I bought a new laptop. It's most likely his DirectX is disabled. To enable it I think you need to go to dxdiag - start up and enable DirectX. Not sure if I answered correctly

    I suggest that you re-install the game (clean version) and maybe the DirectX that compatible to run gta sa.
