    Game randomly freezes while driving for around 2 seconds.

    Okay, so.. I regularly drive in the cruiser and suddenly, my game freezes for about two seconds and then continues.

    This is EXTREMELY annoying in pursuits, where you cannot afford to have this. I now literally cannot drive.

    I need a fix to this ASAP.

    Its just the number of tasks running behind the desktop nowadays in latest PCs causing them lag spikes/hang or whatever you name it. I investigated about this a lot but couldn't find any relevant solution, try keeping your GTA clean i.e without any modifications or edition. If that does not help, try changing the directory or lowering down the resolution a little bit.

    I am still facing this issue and I do know for a fact that this is really annoying when it comes to pursuits or a shootout. I tried decreasing my resolution and the issue fixed a bit but not really, it still occurs after a few seconds for a second or sometimes even three.

    Also delete .cleo files if you have any, plus any cleo mods that you may have installed.

    Your pc might overheat sometimes which causes lag spikes etc, there's no actual solution for this besides closing background applications, so yeah, try closing applications you don't use through the task manager and tell us if it works.

    Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc button and close all unused apps.
    Also download CCleaner and clean your pc once.
    Performance will be better than before i hope.

    Well, the first reason is depend on your computer.. What kind of PC are you using and other reason is maybe you got mods. Delete them if you got mods because sometimes mods causes game hang. And If you don't got mods and got a better PC. Always turn of your car radio (Turn off). Hope it will be fixed or IF it will doesn't fixed again delete your San Andreas with SAMP and re-install your both things... Is that your question answer.?

    Had the same exact problem, but I froze for like 20 seconds.
    It's extremely annoying.. idk how to fix it, tried everything literally.

    This is the same thing that happened to my friend. It turned out his computer could not run the game. And when the game runs his game suddenly crashed or hanged. You should go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest and select San Andreas from the drop-down to see if your computer has the minimum requirements. If you have the minimum requirements you might try turning down some options so it doesn't stress your PC too much or reinstalling, and if that doesn't work then I'm sorry i couldn't be of more help to you
