I have a thread regarding them (
CLICK HERE) although I decided to announce here as well. Sparke and I have decided to implement points in the upcoming update, version 3.7.5 which will take place this Friday. Basic stuff regarding the system:
- Dynamic system (points can be created, edited and deleted in-game).
- User-friendly, understandable and cool features (listed below).
- Dynamic loading & saving for the points.
- In-game points rules.
- Killer of the current person who attempts to capture receives $5,000.
- Died in range of point warning: if enabled for the point by the admins/developers, people will be informed if they die in range of a point. This is to prevent people from entering a point and getting killed (claiming it was DM).
- Default points - each point will eventually get a purpose, right now only 3 of them do.
- Points' have better purposes and money received - if you capture/kill the capturer, you receive money.
- No need to wait for R5+ anymore! /capture is now for R3+ (since it can't be abused and only benefits the family I made it that way).
Default points:
Right now we got 2 materials pickups. If your family holds one of them and you mat run using that pickup you will receive +100 materials in addition.
I also made the drugs factory:
Note: This isn't the real location where the drugs factory will be, and the timers (i.e 10 minutes to /capture) are reduced for testing purposes.
Basically the drugs factory point has the ability to receive 50g of Cannabis, Meth or Cocaine (per time, means a family must /capture and succeed in order to /claimpointdrugs, can be used once per /capture). The drugs which you will receive are completely random (to avoid people taking the best one which obviously makes the others useless).
Once /captured, 12 hours must pass (each point and its own time) to be able to take it over again.
I will leave this one open for suggestions and opinions.
